Hot date at SJFBC

Just had to blog about last Saturday night! I had a “Hot Date” with my beautiful wife, and we had a blast! Yes! We were at Church! hahhaha! lol! You can have an awesome time in Church! It was an amazing night! We ate an amazing three course meal with coffee on top! I love caffeine! And we laughed till our sides ached! This was a result of our annual “Not So Newly -Wed Game”, in which I got to host! I was the best Chuck Woolery I could be! Lol! Ha ha ha!  Our youth served close to 100 people husband and wives and their children. All the net proceeds went toward the next youth conference that the youth will be attending in Nashville, Tn.- YEC(Youth Evangelism Conference) It was a two fold blessing for them to do some ministry and serve our members and some guests, and also to walk away from that night with most of the money they needed to be able to go on their trip! As a young adult married man, not as Pastor; I walked away feeling a sense of community that I have not felt in the Lord’s house in a long time. We can come into the Lord’s house and have tons of fun and laughs in Christ Jesus! We know because we all experienced it first hand!
